Tyson's Derby Car

Ty thought of doing vinyl on his car! He chose all the images and colors I just cut it out. He did all the painting and designing of his car! He wanted his car to be #28 for his birthday.
He found this image of the little boy and thought to have it for the driver!
I even got the approval of Dave Bleazard....he now sees the value of my vinyl machine!!
YYYEESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Helping dad do some finishing touches before check in
Ty either wanted to be first in every race or win the slowest "turtle" award.
He got what he wanted! He won the turtle award and he COULD NOT have been more excited! He was a great example of good sportsmanship!
Getting ready to see his car race for the first time!
Ready to check in his car!
What a fun night we had!!

Vinyl Madness

For those of you who have been asking to see some of the things I have been working on at my house! Here they are! Before you ask?...Yes I do have a life and no I don't cut vinyl all day long despite what this post may lead you to believe! {A small disclaimer though....I LOVE my vinyl machine!}

A new Member of the Fullmer Family

This is the new girl in Shawn's life! He always told me I was the only for him...but not so! I have been bumped to #2, at least temporarily! ;) Apparently she loves him unconditionally and is always happy to see him!
I made the kids come outside and Shawn was behind the cars! They had NO IDEA!!! They knew there was a surprise but you can tell from the look on Kyler's face he wasn't so sure the surprise was better than him being able to play video games! (stinker)
Isn't this great! Look at their reactions...it was priceless!!! They couldn't believe it was for real. They all turned to me and asked me if this was a trick!
loving their new friend
Can you even believe that we got a dog? You are not the only ones! All of my friends were shocked that we did AND that it was my idea! I think my poor kids (and Shawn) had finally gotten their prayers answered! This is Bella. She was a stray that a friend of ours found and wasn't able to keep. When she started telling me all about her she sounded too good to be true! We think she is about 6-8 months old. She is a yellow lab. She is already potty-trained, loves and is great with kids, loves to be in the backyard, isn't a barker, doesn't chew on too much, and sleeps through the night! This is my kinda baby! We brought her home about 2 weeks ago. She has adjusted quite well here!! We took her to the vet last week and she was given a clean bill of health! We love her so much already, seems like she has always been here!
Ty's turn
Austin's turn
Kyler did great too!
This is where we can find Bella when we are vacuuming! She hides on the stairs, she isn't a big fan!
Just resting...

Snow in Katy???

Can you believe it? We couldn't either!! I let the kids stay home from school to play in the snow. How often do you get a snow day in Katy? Kyler has never been in the snow either so I couldn't let him sit at a desk and miss all that fun! (I am so glad I did let them stay home because they would've missed it if they had stayed in school!) And boy did they have fun!!! They played in it for quite a while. They were all frozen when they came in, not one of them complained though. They just sat next to the fire to warm up. They were chattering non-stop. It was sooo fun to see them so excited and hear them talk to one another about it! After some lunch and a movie they went back out for round 2! :) I know, there isn't much of it...especially to some of you who live in the white stuff all the time! It was fun for us though...and just enough! :) It was a fabulous day! When it just started snowing, Ty was making snowballs from what he could find on the fence!
He was too excited to go get a snowball of his own to wait for his gloves. He wanted them shortly after this!! :)Brrrr.....Ty is a stinker...he totally freaked me out letting me think he was really sticking his tongue on that pole! No double dog dares at this house. When I told him not to do that, all the kids started giggling and said "Mom!" Ty then showed me that he was touching his tongue to his finger, it just looked real! They love a good fake out on mom!Austin claimed that this was a driving hazard so he cleared the snow from the stop sign. What snow day would be complete without some snow angels?
