We got a new toy...it's a Pancake Pen!! It's a must have from Williams & Sonoma! We all played and made our own pancakes this morning! The kids LOVED it!! If only every meal was so well recieved!!! How do I get veggies to come out of a "pen" and make art with them so that the kids will eat more of them???

Tyson's artwork

Tyson's artwork was chosen to hang in the Katy ISD Admin building! We went after school one day to check it out! It was called line art. He says it's an elephant shrew and his name is in it! {backwards...but it's in there!}

Randomness and a Parade

Tyson was able to be in the Rice Harvest Festival Parade last Saturday. We have never been before and we had such a fun time! Just one more reason why we LOVE living in Katy!!! Ty got to ride on the Young Chefs Academy float! He got to throw candy! He had a ton of fun!!! :0)
waiting for the parade to start
We love that HEB is in Katy!!!! {whoop whoop}

Happy Birthday Tyson

I figured what better way to start the birthday post than with pictures of Ty's feet! :o) Well the reason is that Ty decided for his fun birthday celebration he wanted to get a pedicure!!! He was so thrilled to sit in that massage chair and be rubbed, scrubbed and buffed!! He LOVED it! Of course it didn't even occur to me to take my camera...so you just get to see the after toes! :) {not really sure you would have wanted to see the before toes}
Tyson's other request was that he would get to make his own birthday dinner and dessert! He has become quite the "little chef" {as Dad calls him} since starting his cooking classes! He made such a yummy dinner! {If you look at the dishes in the background you can see what's left of it} He made vichyssoise. It was soooo good! He made a peach and cherry cobbler for dessert!
After Kailee's party we learned our lesson about doing sparkler candles in the house {too much smoke} so we sang Happy Birthday outside!
Kyler wanted to give Ty a hug after he opened his present {new headphones}
tickets to go see Wicked in San Antonio
Ty decided this year instead of having a friend party he wanted all the money to go to a few special gifts!! {fine by me...less work for mom!!} So he got a new bike! He also got 2 tickets to see Wicked in San Antonio next February! Him and I are going to go and get a hotel room, see the show, go visit the Alamo and have a special little trip!! He is beside himself with excitement!!
Happy 10th Birthday Tyson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
