playing around with my new iphone (which I am completely head over heels in love with!!!)  and a new app i found that lets you do fun things with the pics you take!  also i was bored while i was waiting for the kiddos to get done in piano so i had to entertain myself somehow!!

Seminary Graduation

 Kailee loved seminary this year!  They studied the Doctorine & Covenants.  She got a course completion certificate and a Master Scriptorian Award!  She did awesome!  She also served as Seminary Class President!  Way to go Kailee!!!

Releasing the Pigeons

 Ty and Kyler have been totally loving their camp!  Today their names were chosen to bring home the Homing Pigeons!!!  Kyler brought home Stripes and Tyson brought home Shadow. 

 They were very clear that we had to GO STRAIGHT HOME to release them!  If we were stopping at the mall then we would release them at the mall!  :o) 

 I did ask them if they could wait long enough for me to grab the camera out of the office and they both said "Fine, but hurry!!"  (How far away do they think the office it?)

 Kyler can't wait to go to camp tomorrow to see if Stripes made it back that quickly!  (If not tomorrow he should be there before camp is over at the end of the week)

 Shadow took his time...I thought this picture was sooo funny.  Ty just patiently put his hands in his lap and waited for Shadow to be ready!  It was about 30 seconds to a minute before he even showed his little head.

 Ty chose Shadow because he usually takes a little longer to get back than some of the other birds and he thought that was cool.

**UPDATE**  When they got to camp the next morning both pigeons were there!!!

Update on getting fun things done!

Things we want to do this summer...the kids and I came up with this list.  We will add to it as we figure out more fun we want to have!!

We thought it would be fun to keep track on the blog!  Maybe we will see how much we accomplish and make it through the whole list!!  Here goes...

Playing games on the recliner....the girls loved it!!

Leah came over one night while the big kids were all at a fireside.  We hung out and chatted and Shawners kept these two cuties entertained for quite some time!  Shawn has been trying for a while to get these 2 sweet girls to be his friend!  I think he has turned the corner....he made friends for life!  His goal now is to get them to call him Brother Awesome!  :o)

Leah and I drove the kids to EFY on the 4th of July.  It's in San Antonio at Trinity University.  The kids were very excited!  I have heard from them a few times already and they are having a fantastic time!!!!  Leah and I got to hang out, chat, have lunch...it truly was "Independence" Day for us!  It was so fun to spend the day with a great friend!

We had a moment...he looked at me for about 5 seconds at the end of a song while he was holding his pose...after he broke pose he smiled at me!

Brian was a ham!  He was the most fun with the audience!  He posed for a picture for me (it didn't turn out) and smiled and waved alot!

Donnie Wahlberg always takes his shirt off!  He sang Cover Girl and then threw his tank into the audience!

Jordan and I did indeed have a moment!!!  He blew a kiss at me and smiled!  I melted...all my teenage girl dreams came true!  I can die now and be completely happy and content!!!  :o)

 So I did something a little crazy and super impulsive!!  I bought a FRONT row ticket to the NKOTBSB concert in San Antonio 3 1/2 hours before the concert was set to start!  There was one seat not taken and it was FRONT row!  How could I pass that up??!!!  I don't know if I would've done it if Kailee hasn't have helped talk me into it!  She was telling me, "Mom you will never forgive yourself...What if you and Jordan have a moment...You have to go....It will be awesome!"  She is such a good girl...what would I do without her!  :o)  So I jumped into the car at 5:00pm...drove to the AT&T Center watched the best concert ever for the second time (I had gone 3 days before here in Houston) and then drove straight home when it was over.  I got home at 2:07AM.  I didn't even yawn till I hit Brookshire! I was on a high from the show and rockin' out to music the whole way home!
